Cornwall Verwaltungs GmbH, Berlin, Germany, informed Medion AG on April 16, 2014 pursuant to Sec. 21 para 1 WpHG that its share in the voting rights of Medion AG, Am Zehnthof 77, 45307 Essen (ISIN DE0006605009) exceeded the threshold of 3% on April 11, 2014 and amounts, as of such date, to 4.74% (this corresponds to 2,293,644 out of a total of 48,418,400 voting rights).

All of the aforementioned voting rights (this corresponds to 2,293,644 out of a total of 48,418,400 voting rights) are to be attributed to Cornwall Verwaltungs GmbH pursuant to Sec. 22 para 1 sentence 1 No. 1 WpHG from the following undertaking which is controlled by Cornwall Verwaltungs GmbH and whose holdings of voting rights amount to 3% or more in Medion AG: Cornwall GmbH & Co. KG, Germany.
