Singer, U.S.A., informed Medion on June 28, 2011 pursuant to Sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that his share in the voting rights of Medion AG, Am Zehnthof 77, 45307 Essen (ISIN DE0006605009) exceeded the threshold of 5% on June 21, 2011 and amounts, as of such date, to 6.04% (this corresponds to 2,924,749 out of a total of 48,418,400 voting rights).
All of the aforementioned voting rights are to be attributed to him pursuant to Sec. 22 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 1 WpHG whereby 3.62% of the voting rights (corresponding to 1,753,849 voting rights) are to be attributed to him from Maidenhead LLC, U.S.A., via Elliott International, L.P., Cayman Islands, Hambledon, Inc., Cayman Islands, Elliott Capital Advisors, L.P., U.S.A., Elliott Asset Management LLC, U.S.A., and Braxton Associates, Inc., U.S.A. 3.62% of the voting rights (corresponding to 1,754,849 voting rights) are also to be attributed to him pursuant to Sec. 22 para. 1 sentence 1 no. 6 in conjunction with sentence 2 WpHG, whereby 3.62% of the voting rights (corresponding to 1,753,849 voting rights) are to be attributed to him from Maidenhead LLC, U.S.A.
