+How can I become a customer of MEDION AG?

There are generally three possibilities here. If you are an end customer, you can register in our webshop under www.medionshop.de and purchase the desired articles there. If you run a trading company or if you are planning to open such a business, it depends what kind of goods you are interested in. If you are exclusively interested in new products in large quantities, please contact our Key Account department. However, if in addition to occasional new products you also wish to purchase B quality goods or special articles in smaller quantities, please fully complete the "Questionnaire". We will then check your details and contact you as soon as possible.

+I would like to become the exclusive sales partner of MEDION AG in a certain country / for a certain product group. What do I have to do?

Neither MEDION AG nor MEDION Remarketing enters into exclusive contracts with its customers. You can, however, apply to become the main sales partner of MEDION Remarketing for a certain country, provided such a partner does not already exist in that country. We shall inform you of the necessary requirements in the individual case when you register your interest.

+Above what purchase quantity will I receive a discount, and how is the graded discount system of MEDION Remarketing arranged?

MEDION Remarketing has no fixed table of discounts. All prices are negotiated individually and are predominantly dependent upon the quantity and type of the products ordered.

+Is there a minimum order quantity?

No, there is no minimum order quantity as such. Remember, however, that the order must be profitable for both parties. Do not forget to include in your considerations the additional transportation costs that will arise. MEDION Remarketing reserves the right to reject unprofitable orders without further explanation.

+Can I obtain samples?

Yes, you can obtain samples of both A and B quality products. Precise details are described in article 7 of the special sales conditions.

+For what period does Medion Remarketing provide a guarantee for the products sold?

Medion Remarketing gives no guarantee on products or components. Under article 4 (2) of the special sales conditions, you receive a warranty depending on product quality. This warranty, however, cannot form the basis for claims to service performances from Medion AG (see article 5 of the special sales conditions).

+Why am I not allowed to sell MEDION products on the internet, for example through eBay?

MEDION AG runs its own webshop under the address www.medionshop.de. This website shall be the only commercial source for MEDION articles on the internet.

+I have seen MEDION Remarketing products being sold on the internet. Why are these providers allowed to do so?

If this provider is not our own webshop, they are not allowed to do so. Please specify the location found, the date and the article(s) traded. We will resolve the case directly.

+I have seen an article in your webshop and would like to purchase it for my company. How can I arrange that?

That an article is offered in our webshop is generally no indication of the availability either of that article or of a comparable article at MEDION Remarketing. Articles that you see in our webshop can generally only be purchased there. This shop serves end customers, however, and for this reason you can only purchase in the quantities and at the prices typical for end customers. Discounts or net invoices for companies are only possible as exceptions. Please contact the MEDION Remarketing Team, who will inform you of the possible sale quantities and prices.

+I have spent a long time searching the internet for information on MEDION Remarketing and only found this page, whose contents are mostly in English. Where can I find this page in other languages?

MEDION Remarketing is an internationally-oriented department of MEDION AG. We are convinced that any distributor not operating on a purely national level must necessarily master English. For many procedures, therefore, there is only an English version.

Delivery

+What are the delivery conditions of MEDION Remarketing?

MEDION Remarketing always delivers its goods ex works. The customer must therefore arrange transportation of the goods at his own expense. If the goods are stored at a number of separate locations, the customer must collect his goods from these separate storage locations. With an additional charge to cover costs and with a delay of a few days, complete collection from a single storage location is possible.

+I do not have a regular forwarding agent and do not want to go to the expense of finding one. Is it not possible for MEDION AG to take care of delivery?

MEDION AG does not run a forwarding company. Nevertheless, it is possible for MEDION AG, on behalf of the customer and at the customer's expense, to commission a forwarding company to deliver the customer's goods. Invoicing takes place directly from the forwarding company to the customer.

+Where can I obtain documents to make customs clearance easier, such as TÜV or DoC declarations?

The product information staff can provide you with these documents. A significant period can elapse, however, before the desired documents are available.

+Can I also get EUR1 certificates?

No, as most products of MEDION AG do not originate in the EU.

Stock overview lists

+What do your different batches mean regarding the actual condition of the goods?

In the stock lists of MEDION Remarketing, the batch of the item is always listed with the individual articles. These batches indicate the general condition of the goods. The precise definitions of the various batches can be found in the special sales conditions of MEDION Remarketing under article 1. It should be especially noted at this point that even A grade articles can be neutrally packaged without this constituting a deficiency in the product.

+The quantities and / or negotiable prices quoted in the availability lists of MEDION Remarketing do not suit me. I would like to take smaller quantities and / or offer less for them.

You are of course free to do so. There are separate columns provided in the stock lists for you to enter your alternative offer. We will check your offer and contact you.
Please only use the columns provided for your offer. Do not delete or alter any of our original entries. Do not mark any items in colour to express your wishes. Do not send us lists in your own format or only excerpts from our lists. If we recognise any alterations of this kind, we will send your offer back unprocessed.

+I have learned that a competitor is selling an article for which I also bid, but for which I was not considered.

It is very likely that you bid for articles that are currently in high demand. MEDION Remarketing reserves the right to sell its goods to the highest bidder. Commitments, once made, are of course adhered to. Next time, try either to respond faster or to bid higher.

+What do the rows of numbers mean in the subcategories for laptop computers, PC's and navigation devices?

These numbers represent the most important system data, each separated by an underscore. In the case of the PC's, the first number stands for the CPU's GHz rating, then the RAM capacity and the capacity of the hard disk in gigabytes. For laptops, this is followed by the size of the screen in inches. For navigation devices, the first indicator stands for the software version, the second for the country coverage, the third for the internal and external memory of the device, the fourth for the TMC function and the final indicator for the Bluetooth functionality.

Product information

+I require high-resolution images of MEDION products to incorporate into my advertising. From whom can I obtain these images?

The easiest way is certainly to order a sample of the article and make your own arrangements to have pictures taken. Alternatively, you can request the images from the staff members for product information, who will, however, inquire in each individual case the reason, location, time and manner of publication from you. In addition, you will have to sign a separate agreement, which will be sent to you in good time.
In either of the cases specified above, you must ensure that the product designations and brands of Medion AG are neither named nor shown in either your advertising text or in the images. In this regard, please observe article 2 (6) of the special sales conditions.

+Where can I find your product catalogue?

Neither MEDION AG nor MEDION Remarketing currently has a product catalogue. Due to the constantly changing articles, and due to time contraints it is not possible to keep a current catalogue.

+How can I get information on individual products?

If the product in which you are interested is a complete product, you can request product information for it from the responsible staff members. Their contact data can be found under "Contact Us". Please be patient, as this information usually has to first be obtained. There is generally no separate product information for components.

+I have already read the product information on an article, but I still need more extensive technical information. Where can I get it?

You can obtain this information from the staff members responsible for product information. If this technical information is available, these staff members will make it available to you after a processing period.

+May I use the product information of MEDION AG for my advertising?

No. This is expressly forbidden in article 2 (6) of the special sales conditions. For this reason, all product information from MEDION Remarketing includes a disclaimer and is not available without it.
